School Social Worker
Erin Peterson is the school social worker at St. Michael Elementary schools. Mrs. Peterson works primarily with students who have special education needs. Mrs. Peterson is dedicated to supporting the social/emotional growth of our students. She works together with staff and families to help students better manage emotions, build friendships and become independent problem solvers.
Elementary School Counselor
Julie Knudson is the Elementary School Counselor for Big Woods, Fieldstone and St. Michael Elementary. Ms. Knudson assists our amazing students with academic and social/emotional growth. She works in partnership with educators and parents to support students with making positive life choices, cope with difficult life events, appreciate diversity, promote confidence and develop healthy relationships. Ms. Knudson works on a 6 digital day schedule. She's at Big Woods Elementary on days 1 and 4, Fieldstone Elementary on days 2 and 6, and St. Michael Elementary on days 3 and 5.

Classes for Parents
Resource, Training, and Solutions, based in St. Cloud, MN, provides classes designed for parents and resources from their media center that can be mailed directly to your home for a minimal cost.
